About me

Photography has always been a love of mine. I still remember the very first picture I took. My uncle's black Pontiac Grand Am parked in front of my house. It was not a fancy picture but one I remember very clearly, taken with a polaroid camera when I was maybe 10 years old. Since then I was always the one with a camera. 

After graduating high school and not knowing what I wanted to do a counselor asked, "What do you like?" Taking pictures. That was it. Back then I probably thought I was going to be a National Geographic photographer. Instead I went to Hallmark Institute of Photography in Western MA. Sadly it is no longer there as the photography world has changed so much. I was lucky to go there at a time when you created a lot of your work hands on in the dark room. I graduated in 2001. A local photographer asked me to work with him. Through him I worked all aspects of photography, portraits, weddings and sports. I also had the opportunity to do concerts, work on the Extreme Home Makeover set and the incredible opportunity to work for Russ Adams at the US Tennis Open. All experiences I am truly grateful for. I worked with him for 5 years. Then I became a Mom and took time off to focus on my two kids. My kiddos are now both in high school. Which that is just crazy to me. Time really does fly by.

The last 10 years or so I have slowly made my way back doing what I love. Over the years I have truly loved meeting everyone that I have photographed and look forward to meeting many more.
